November 2024 Update:

Initial Assessment - Complete

• Basement pumped and cleaned

• Front window reinstalled

• Initial main floor and orchestra cleaning

• Building purchased by 927 St. Joachim L'Association

April 2025 Update:

PHASE 1: Stabilization, Safety and Security -  Complete

• The front door's broken glass was repaired and secured

• Flooring has been repaired or replaced where needed 

• Unsecured plaster was repaired and necessary drywall was removed

• Flooring was replaced at the front entrance

• The entire building’s main floor and basement were cleaned

• Side entrance roofs were replaced

May 2025 Update:

PHASE 2: Basement Restoration -  In Progress

Complete:

• Ductwork cleaned

• New electrical panel installed

• New furnace installed

• New sump pump installed

• Connected to hydro

• Professional mold remediation

In progress:

• Connect to municipal water

• Install emergency and exit lights

• Paint where required

• Install furnishings

• Install two new accessible washrooms

• Commence Social Programs
